At 30 inches tall and 32 wide, this sits higher and broader than a standard nightstand. Beside a tall bed it lands at the right height. On its own it works as a small dresser in a hallway or behind a sofa.

Three drawers, 24 inches across and 12 deep inside — room for folded clothes, not just a book and a charger. Fluted fronts in five painted finishes, solid metal knobs, and a water-resistant painted finish that is low-odour, so a new one will not scent the room for a week.
